Hello, Friends!

Welcome to my website! My name is Weston Hasty and I make things on the internet. You probably know me from one of those things, but in case you’re new here I'll give you the rundown.

The first thing I'd like to tell you about is my new book! Smiling For The Sky: Haiku-Style Poetry About Heartache is a compilation of 83 short poems about, you guessed it, heartache. From the ecstatic highs of discovering love to the crushing lows of losing it, this compilation is a diary of a rocky slice of my life that many of you might find relatable. The haiku (or senryu) style of writing poems has always appealed to me; the challenge of packaging a complex emotion into a succint and focused three-lined poem is both satisfying and cathartic.

If there's something you know me for, it's probably my long-time YouTube channel, MagicManMo. It's a variety “let’s play” gaming channel featuring both videos and livestreams. I started uploading to the channel in the summer of 2012 when I needed something to fill my free time and was inspired by other popular gaming YouTubers of the time. I am most popular for my Inkagames videos and streams, which caught the attention of the studio's founder, Aldo Mujica, which led to me being featured in three of their games: YouTubers Saw Game 3, MagicManMo Trivia, and MagicManMo Saw Trap.

It is truly an honor to be able to touch so many lives and be a part of some cool projects that all originated from me playing games and being silly.

I've actually attempted a few podcasts over the years, but this one is by far my favorite. Co-hosted by my buddy Alex Duquette, this eclectic podcast features a new theme every week and then we play a “game” around that theme in the back half of the show. It's a lot of fun, but also someone challenging and thought-provoking. You might say it's a little Profoundish!
